Indian Rocks
The Community of Indian Rocks came into existence in 1955 when four businessmen and their wives, from Pennsylvania purchased 546 acres of land from Pennsylvania Power and Light Co. The prime reason for the purchase was to develop adjacent lakeside land into a miniature community for vacation, recreation and retirement.
A four-season community located at the southern end of Lake Wallenpaupack in the Pocono Mountains. it is within minutes of Interstate 84. Amenities include:
- An outdoor pool
- Tennis Courts
- Community docking on Lake Wallenpaupack upon availability
- Pond
- Two beaches on Lake Wallenpaupack, and water is provided by a central water system and sewers are on lot septic systems.
