Having spent the past 31 years in Europe and the Middle East, Tamara Chant recently returned to her native home of Milford, Pennsylvania to join her children and parents. A Smith College graduate, Tamara managed marketing and sponsorship for Top Marques Monaco, a luxury car and goods exhibitor, working both in Monaco and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Tamara began working with non-profit organizations after completing a certification in fundraising at NYU, shifting her focus toward activism for vulnerable populations, and the education of women and girls. In 2016, she was appointed Executive Director of Safe Haven of Pike County, a domestic violence and sexual assault resource agency and in August 2018, was appointed Project Coordinator of the Port Jervis Warming Station for those homeless. In November 2018, Tamara will join the family business, Chant Realtors . She also serves as a board member for Nepal Orphans Home, based in Kathmandu, Nepal and locally, Pinchot Institute, the United Way and is an Executive member of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce.
Tamara joins her family, Davis and Judy Chant of Milford, Pa , Dorothy Trapp of Topsail Beach, NC. and her two children., Jacob Saltzman, who is a third year student at the University of Vermont, and her daughter, Hannah Saltzman, who , with her partner reside in San Francisco, Ca.
Hannah is in her second year of a PHD in Psychology at Palo Alto University.
