Real Estate Agent
Patty grew up in the Tri-State area and is familiar with the many things this area has to offer, from its beautiful scenic spots to its historic homes and bustling lake communities. After graduating high school she headed to the Mid West where she attended Central College in Pella, Iowa. You may not have heard of Central, but you have probable heard of Pella Windows and Doors. The factory was not far from her first apartment. After graduating with a degree in sociology, she took her first real job in Burlington, Iowa where she lived on the banks of the Mississippi River. She stayed in the Mid West for a few years and then returned to the Tri-State area where she married, purchased a home and had her daughter. Hard to believe, but that was over 30 years ago! Her daughter is now married, a special education teacher and the mother of two beautiful children with whom Patty loves to spend her free time.
Real Estate is a second career for Patty. She has spent over 40 years in the human service field working for and running non-profit agencies. Although she loved working with people and assisting them through many of life's struggles, she left that field looking for something that would give her more flexibility. Interestingly, her years of experience in human service have been a good fit with her work as a Realtor. It has given her a unique understanding of the needs of the people with whom she works. She recognizes that although buying or selling a home may be the most pressing need when people walk into her office, there are often many other issues which need to be taken into consideration. She tries to get to know the people with whom she works and understand their individual and family needs. Knowing that even under the best of circumstances, buying and selling a home can be stressful, she works very hard to reduce the stress by helping her clients to understand and become an active part of the process. According to Patty, Most times stress is the result of people not knowing what is going to happen or why. It's my job to make sure they know what is happening and can prepare for it. Her approach much be working, as she was the top agent in the Chant Milford office for January and February of 2108 and one the top 10 agents for the entire Pike Wayne association of realtors receiving 5 star reviews from both her sellers and buyers!
Patty is a member of the Pike/Wayne Association of Realtors and the founder and volunteer director of the Upper Delaware LGBT Center. She is an active in the community and participates in the many social and cultural events occurring year round.
Patty is proud to be a Chant team member. As the largest independent real estate agency in the area, with over 50 years experience and boasting number one in sales for sales year after year, she works hard to live up to Chant's reputation of excellence and customer satisfaction. She looks forward to helping you find a place to call home, listing your current property or helping you relocate to a new area.
