About Us
Davis R. Chant Realtors was founded in 1964 in Milford, Pennsylvania by Davis R. Chant. He was joined shortly thereafter by Peter Helms. Throughout the years, Chant Realtors has come to be known for their wealth of real estate knowledge, ability to navigate all types of real estate transactions and their dedication to giving back to the communities that support them.
Currently, Chant has 4 office locations in Pennsylvania: Milford, Lake Wallenpaupack, Lords Valley and Honesdale and a coverage area that spans all of Pike and Wayne Counties, Monroe County, Orange County, New York and Sussex County, NJ.
Since the passing of Dave Chant in April of 2023, the leadership team at Chant includes Pete Helms, Broker/Owner, Lorraine Collins, President, John Schmitt, Owner, Abby Pittenger-Clauss, Vice-President and Carly Longhenry, Managing Partner.
Since the inception of the MLS in 2003, Chant has been the #1 real estate company in Pike and Wayne Counties – outpacing every other brokerage in sales by volume every single year.
